Offensive Player of the Year week 10
1. Brandon Marshall- Broncos 88 Rec 1418 Yards 19 TD
What can you say about Marshall? On pace to break every receiving record in the NFL. This guy has already had a monster
season and we are only halfway there. Although there are many candidates for leading offensive player, it is hard to top this guys numbers so far. Only question is can young QB Pat White keep getting him the ball?
2. D. Heyward-Bey: Falcons 62 Rec 1503 Yards 17 TD
Who would have thought the speedy rookie would lead all NFL receivers in receiving yards at the halfway point? Obviously
Mike Smith has great trust in his young receiver and he will only continue to get better throughout the years. Heyward-Bey
has become Freemans favorite target and look for that to continue as Heyward-Bey keeps racking up the yards.
3. Tony Romo: Ravens 3124 yards, 34 TD 4 INT, 81% completion, 4 sacks
Romo has been putting on a show out there. With a staggering 8.4 TD passes for every interception and he is completing an
unheard of 81% of his passes. Not only that, but he has almost been untouched this season as he has only been sacked 4
times. With him at the commands, Ravens look like a deadly team. Will Romo fall apart come playoffs or will he be able to
keep playing great football?
4. Mark Sanchez- Patriots, 3003 yards, 35 TD 6 INT, 71% completion, 7 sacks
The young Mark Sanchez has compiled a terrific season thus far under the great coach belichick. No one expected this kind
of production out of him this early and he has definitely silenced his critics, such as his former coach Carroll. Sanchez
boasts a 5.8 TD to interception ratio and has done a great job of staying on his feet.
5. Steve Slaton- Falcons 1495 yards, 11 TD, 10 YPC. 25 Rec 281 yards 2 TD
Ever since Slaton came over to the Falcons in a trade earlier this season, no HB in the NFL has put up bigger numbers.
Slaton seems unstoppable as he is averaging 10 yards per carry and is also catching the ball out of the backfield. This is
helping to take a load off young QB Freeman as defenses are going to have to start packing the box to try and slow this guy down.
